Tomorrow, May 25,2023, from 4:00-6:00 PM, there will be a memorial rally for George Floyd, who was choked to death by a police officer in 2020, at the North side of City Hall in Philadelphia. There will be songs, spoken-word performances, and reflection, along with calls for Congress to pass the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act. The event is sponsored by the Labor for Black Lives Coalition, and the Civil and Human rights Committee of the Philadelphia AFL-CIO.
