I moved, in 1981, from that backward rural township I was stuck in, and moved to Philadelphia, to study at Temple and to make a new life for myself. I had no connections, I didn’t know anybody, I had a problem finding a place to stay, I had terrible social skills, but I did make for myself a great life, and that is the risk I took, for the better.

In 2017 I took two trips outside the country, one to Israel, two to Jamaica. I never have traveled to foreign countries, and I had a great time each trip. I hope to do it again soon.
