Resolutions for My Birthday

ON August 1 is my 62nd birthday-yes, I’ve made it THIS far, thanks be to God. I now perform my ritual of my birthday resolutions, compatible to my resolutions for New Year’s, Pesach, and Rosh haShona.

I will continue to practice self-love, self-esteem, and self-respect, thinking positively about my life and what I can do as a person.

I will continue to be faithful to Jewish tradition, history, religion, culture, etc.

I will continue to practice all forms of cultural and educational pursuits, such as libraries, galleries, lectures, classes, lectures, etc.

I will continue to practice prayer and meditation for spiritual and mental health.

I will continue to develop the art and business of writing and other artistic endeavors.

Resolutions for my Birthday

My birthday is coming up on August 1 (Leo)-I won’t mention which birthday it is-and I continue my practice of writing down resolutions for my birthday, just like I do for Pesach, Rosh ha-Shona, and New Year’s. Its part of my work at personal development, to clarify my life goals. Here they are:

I will continue to conduct myself with self-love, self-esteem, and self-respect, paying attention to the positive things in my life and in my character.

I will continue to develop in my Jewish faith, learning, and history.

I will continue to improve my financial situation.

I will continue my education, with galleries, libraries, seminars, etc.

I will continue to develop my business and craft as a writer, attending workshops and readings, and submitting to journals; I will also continue to explore other artistic areas, like acting.

I will continue to support my various social and political causes.
