I will attend the reading of the Moonstone Arts Center, to be held at Fergie’s Pub, 1214 Sansom Street in Philadelphia, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. (http://www.fergies.com/) The featured readers will be Clinton Smith, poet, prose writer, and musician; and poet Elijah Pryor. There will be an open mic reading, which I shall take part in. This Sunday afternoon, July 22, 2018, I will have my books for sale at the swap-meet taking place at my favorite bar, Dirty Frank’s, 13th and Pine streets in Philadelphia. The anthology, All OF The Above, will be $20.00 per copy, and the two poetry volumes, Mutterings and Out Of The Box, will go for $10.00 each. I hope to see you there.

Office Hours

I will hold office hours for my Notary work, and to sell my books, at 1500 Walnut Street, suite 700, from 12:00-3:00 PM, on Thursday, June 28, 2018. I look forward to seeing you and working with you.

Me At Tattooed Mom December 27

I will hold a book signing event for my anthology, All Of The Above, at Tattooed Mom, 530 South Street in Philadelphia, which will include a poetry reading with Frank Sherlock, Irving Jones, and myself. It will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Copies of the anthology, and of my published poetry volumes, will be for sale. I look forward to seeing you there.

Anthology of Featured Poets at Moonstone

I will be one of the featured poets at a reading program of poets who have been featured readers of the Moonstone Arts Center ( http://moonstoneartscenter.org/), to be held 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Fergie’s Pub, 13th and Sansom streets, on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Included in the lineup are Irving Jones, Bob Zell, Richard S. Bank, Carolina Morales, Audrey Rahab Hiers, and others. Please come out and support your local artists and geniuses.

Not Our President Poetry Reading

I will take part in the reading of the poetry chapbook Not Our President, an anthology of poems protesting the current inmate of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and everything he stands for. I will join other fine Philadelphia area poets, including Leonard Gontarek, Enoch Guy, and Irving Jones, among others, at Fergie’s Pub, 1214 Sansom Street, on Sunday, November 5th.

Moonstone

I have worked for the longest time with Larry Robin and his Moonstone Arts Center, which has been a wonderful forum for poets in the Philadelphia region.

Tomorrow, I shall join over a hundred of the region’s finest poets for Poetry Ink, a celebration of National Poetry Month. It will take place at 12 Noon at District 1199C AFSCME, on 13th and Locust streets. The poets will have copies of their volumes available for sale; please purchase the volumes and support them. The food will be potluck, so please bring something to share.

On Sunday, May 7, will be a reading of poems of protest and resistance, held at the Grass Plaza of Brandywine Workshop, 728 South Broad Street. There will be readings of poems on such themes as women’s issues,  war, immigration, and freedom. Book sales will start at 12 Noon, and the readings will start at 2:00 PM.

Poetry Ink 2017

I will be with other  fine Philadelphia area poets to participate in Poetry Ink, a celebration of National Poetry Month, to be held at Hospital Workers Union 1199C building, 1319 Locust Street, at 12:00 noon, on Sunday, April 30, 2017. There will be a potluck meal, so please bring something to share. YO will enjoy the company and the readings of some of the area’s best poets.

I have had to travel into unfamiliar territories this past year, and the experiences have benefitted me. This upcoming year, I will travel other unfamiliar roads. This poem gives me inspiration for the journey.
