Greetings, Americans!
Soon, I won’t say how soon, I’ll celebrate my birthday. Hopefully, I have gained some wisdom along my life path. I have had so many wonderful mentors teaching me the Way, and I hope to pass their wisdom on to future generations.
One thing I’ve learned, truly held beliefs and ideas are not fad items. Certain movements can be fashionable and hip, but it’s the LOOONG run, after the novelty fades, when the media doesn’t cover it 24/7, and there’s the work to be done—academic work related to the movement, political campaigns, developing organizations and communications media. The fad fades, like the hula-hoop and the pet rock (yes, I’m THAT old), but the cause goes on. Myself, I’m in for the LOOONG haul.
Where do I begin with this hate-filled, ignorant regime? I consider myself a news junkie, but it’s hard to keep up; the regime and its minions keep doing more stupidly evil stuff for us to deal with.
Trump and his lackeys WILL DEFINITELY try to prevent Democrats from voting in November, anything from seizing state voting records to gerrymandering to voter ID laws to sending ICE goons, uh, agents to provide “security” at voting stations, on the flimsiest of excuses, including a “national emergency.” There are organizations and individuals prepared to any underhanded thing trump would do to remain in power.
Don’t kid yourself that trump has imperial ambitions; it shows in the Treasury Department minting a $1.00 coin, to his $250.00 bill with his ugly mug on it, to the passports with his face (a disgrace!), to his image draped on the department buildings in Washington, to his vandalism of the East Wing and Rose Garden (what else can you call it?), to putting his name on the John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, to his name (ugh! That name!) on the US Institute for Peace, to his gold-leafing of the moldings of the White House rooms—that’s the person running our government, and he’s lining his pockets along the way.

Recently, Secretary of Weird, uh, War, uh, Defense Pete Hegseth put out a video aimed at military personnel, saying that personnel 30 years and over with be screened for their testosterone levels.
This is one example of the obsession with “masculinity” driving the regime and its adherents. Along with Hegseth’s testosterone fetish, he has removed female officers from the promotion lists to be admirals and generals.
I’m currently reading the book, Regime Change, by Maggie Haberman and Johathan Swan of the New York Times, published by Simon and Schuster. When I read of how so many supposedly powerful and venerable institutions submitted to trump’s tyranny—ABC News, CBS News, Harvard University, several high-end law firms—the angrier I got. They didn’t have the spine to stand up to tRump, so therefore WE, the working and low-income people of the United States, have the task of saving America from this regime. That’s the way it’s always been, in popular culture and social change, it starts from the bottom-up.
Let US, therefore, have the honor of rescuing America from the physically and morally decrepit, gold-plated Putin-wannabe scumbag lurking in the White House—before he wreaks more damage on it—and our future generations will thank us for it.
