See from this 21st remove, Stranger is a very misogynistic book. I couldn’t finish it this time around, but as a teen back in the day, I didnt pick up on the chauvinist hogwash. Have fun!
I just started reading it, so I can’t make a judgement on it, although some of the male characters are pretty sexist in their speech.
