The High Holy Days-Rosh ha-Shona, the New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement- are coming; this is the time for self-analysis, for turning from the negative to the positive, and repairing damaged relationships. Here are my resolutions for the upcoming year:
I will continue to conduct myself with self-love, self esteem, and self-respect, taking pride in myself, my appearance, my accomplishments, and my life; to know I am capable of doing great things; and knowing I’m worthy of respect.
I will continue my activism in various social and political causes.
I will continue to be loyal to Jewish religion, tradition, etc.
I will continue my art, craft, and business as a writer, practicing writing, attending seminars, attending readings and classes, etc.
I will continue to seek education in classes, libraries, seminars, museums, etc.
I will seek out and experiment with other art forms.
L’Shana Tova! A good, sweet, and prosperous new year to all.
