THe elections are over, and Tom Wolf will be the new Governor of Pennsylvania. Bad news, the Republicans, dominated by the tea party fanatics and Koch brothers money, are on the way to having a majority in the Senate. There will be “experts” who say this is a long-term trend, and that progressives and Labor must roll over and play dead for the reactionaries.
No way! The things we’ve fought for, like national health care, infrastructure imporvements, workers’ rights, fair-trade agreements, and STILL worth fighting for. I take the LONG haul attitude, that the constant work of dedicated activists over decades of work makes a difference in public policy. I will never give up.
