I don’t glorify childhood. IN my chaildhood, so many bad things happened to me, such as constant teasing and bullying, and I was helpless to stop it; and I myslef did some dumb things I can’t brag about. Childhood to me is something to move past.
In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?
If it led to positive results, like getting an A on a report card.
Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
I don’t know. I’ve been doing great with my computer, it’s next to impossible to imagine life and work without it.
What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?
Prepping for Yom Kippur, study and prayer.
What personality trait in people raises a red flag with you?
People who complain and gripe about other people and generally spread negativity. I avoid people like that.
What brings a tear of joy to your eye?
Solidarity with my Labor brethren.
What’s your favorite time of day?
Closer to the evening, I feel more alert and organized mentally then.
If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?
Either a bar, with intelligent people discussing serious topics over the beer, or a bookshop with a cafe on the side.
What do you enjoy most about writing?
It gives me a way to organize and clarify my thoughts, and to express them if I can’t do it verbally.
