Independent thinker that I am, I have NEVER, and NEVER will, swallowed the idea of the “Reagan Democrat,” which is compatible to the “Archie Bunker vote,” the idea that working class whites are all ignorant racist thugs. I have know a few like that, but it’s not a universal phenomenon, and class is now ranking along side of race as an important issue.
