via Civility: The enemy of righteousness and justice, the weapon of the oppressor

You can always count on the political establishment and their media to try to make social activists and protesters SO ASHAMED of themselves for making such a ruckus about unjust conditions. BUT, activists don’t need anyone’s permission to do what they got to do to draw attention to the problems facing our society, its just a way to distract attention from the real problem, so the establishment doesn’t have to deal with it. Let’s deal with it, let’s keep getting in our oppressors’ face about these things, that’s democracy for you.
