This Thursday I shall again go on PhillyCAM, the public access channel of Philadelphia ( https://phillycam.org/) , to act in the series Conversations Across Time (http://conversationsacrosstime.com/). This time, our conversation will be about the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where the financial and corporate elite come together to further their domination of the world. I will play one of that elite’s most illustrious servants,  John Foster Dulles, Secretary of State for Dwight Eisenhower, partner in the super-elite law firm Sullivan &Cromwell, and advocate of coups d’etat  in countries that DARED to put their people’s welfare-like Iran in 1953 and Guatemala in 1954-over the wills of the corporate overlords of the United States.

The book I read in preparation for my role is The Brothers: John Foster Dulles, Allen Dulles, and Their Secret World War by Stephen Kinzer. published by Henry Holt and Company. This is the joint biography of John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles, who was Director of the CIA while John Foster was Secretary of State, and how they staged these coups that installed oppressive regimes upon their own people.
